Install the APK

The two builds are signed differently: uninstall the existing version before switching, then install the other one. Important: licenses are per distribution channel – Android assigns a separate device identity per app signature. Play purchases can always be brought back in the Play version via “Restore purchases” (Google account); website licenses are detected automatically by the direct version through its device ID. Switching between the two channels does not transfer a license.
